In 2011 CLAUNI was granted the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) accreditation. The AEO accreditation, which is issued by the French Customs authorities, is a contract of trust by which the accredited company commits to implementing internal and external measures to ensure the safety and security of all its flows and procedures:
- To secure the supply chain and tackle terrorism and Customs fraud,
- Outbound, to facilitate and speed up international trade,
- Inbound, to continue benefiting from Customs facilitations,
- Between business partners, to establish a secure trade framework.
This accreditation aims to extend the contract of trust concluded between the AEO company and the Customs Administration. It is based directly on the AEO partnership charter set out in concert with DGDDI (French Customs authorities) by the French Transport and Logistics federation (TLF) to which the AEO Company belongs.
